The Downey Kiwanis Club is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. Our club has been in service to our community for 99 years. We are part of Kiwanis International, an organization serving children in local communities throughout the world for over 100 years.
Kiwanis members are a mosaic of ordinary people doing extraordinary things to uplift our community and serve children around the world.
Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Our Kiwanis club looks out for our community and the Kiwanis international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty. Our Kiwanis club is generous with its time. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference. And we have fun along the way!
For more than a century, Kiwanis has created opportunities for children to be curious, safe and healthy regardless of the community in which they live. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things can happen.

Adam serves as the General Manager at 1st Choice Lending in Downey, bringing with him a diverse professional background in sales, marketing, logistics, and retail/CPG. His depth of experience shows in everything he does — strategic, thoughtful, and always results-driven.
But what truly sets Adam apart is his heart for service and leadership. He is always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. From managing our club website to serving as Program Chair, one of the most important roles in ensuring the success and vibrancy of our meetings.
